For the show at the Art Association of Graz, Jonathan Monk produced a film which revolved the carousel of artistic values one more time. The starting point of the film was an artist's book by Ed Ruscha from 1964 that contained photographs of different burning objects ranging from a lighter to a jeweler's torch and an oven, along with a photo of a glass of milk. For the work entitled "Today is just a copy of yesterday", Jonathan Monk produced a daily duplicate of a duplicate of a photo of a glass of milk, calling crucially into question assumptions regarding the origins and reproduction of art. Slides of these duplicates comprise the artist book "& milk".
